A tribute to Rowan Jade by Jane Campbell / 4 October 2010

A moving tribute to disabled activist Rowan Jade, who died suddenly at the age of 40 whilst on holiday with her partner and child.

The tribute is by Baroness Jane Campbell and echoes many of our own thoughts and feelings regarding this amazing young woman.

Jade will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

Very very sorry to have heard about her death, she was a great lady.

I know that when Rowan died the social networking sites were full of comments and memories of this lovely woman. I'm therefore intending this blog to be just a sign post to Jane Campbell's tribute article in the Guardian. However, please feel free to leave a comment if you would like.
