Mount Cabon I by Colin Hambrook
A monochrome drawing (3.5:4.8 - width to height ratio) of a hilly landscape beneath a rising or setting planet half seen over the horizon. The background dominated by a half-seen planet - possibly the moon - disappearing behind the gentle summit of a mountain. Concentric circles swirl around this planet reaching beyond the frame. Beneath the summit an undulating landscape unfolds towards the bottom of the frame. The landscape folds over onto itself and forms many evocative implicit shapes. Just left of the centre a wide open eye - could be animal or human - emerges from an opening.
